Night of Stars 2018: GALA's great Gala

GALA will host its annual Noche de Estrellas benefit event honoring extraordinary leaders in the arts and philanthropy. Proceeds from the event will support GALA’s youth education programs, which include the Paso Nuevo program, an arts and academic enrichment program for Latino teens in the District of Columbia that was recognized with a 2012 National Arts and Humanities Youth Arts Program Award.

The 2018 honorees are: Luis Salgado, director and choreographer of In the Heights en español for Artistic Excellence and Inspiration; Craig Pascal and Victor Shargai for Philanthropy in the Arts; and Ana Recio Harvey, former US Small Business Administration Official and CEO of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, for Service to the Arts.

Noche de Estrellas 2018 includes cocktails, dinner, and performances of Puerto Rican bomba and plena, and tango. Enjoy live and silent auctions for unique getaways and experiences. Erika González, news anchor at NBC Channel 4, will be Master of Ceremonies.
